What Does A Project Manager Do?

The role of a Project Manager is to oversee an entire project from start to finish for an organization. They are responsible for planning, executing, and ensuring the project gets completed. In addition to managing the project’s resources, they oversee the teams and employees.

A Project Manager is also responsible for maintaining communication between the various teams, workers, and clients throughout the project’s entirety. This could include informing a team when another team completes a portion of the project to communicate with stakeholders about the project’s status.

Project Managers can work across a variety of industries including construction, engineering, computer systems, architecture and a variety of business fields. Because of this wide variety of industries, a project manager’s work environment can be dependent on the field.
